A week after I visited Magnum Manila, I was back in SM Aura on May 11 to celebrate 2 important dates- Mother's Day and also DH and I's wedding anniversary. I invited my family over lunch at Ogetsu Hime so we ccould celebrate Mother's day together. Come dinner time, it was just DH, #babyMartinez and I at the much-talked about The Food Hall by Todd English.

Todd English Food Hall gets a lot of hype these days so the best thing to do is to have a reservation which is what I did. I didn't have to queue in line which is not on a "first-come, first-served" basis, by the way.
The photo above shows DH's Amsterdam Burger. It is a freshly-made, 4-cut meat burger patty with fried onion, pastrami, gruyere, sauerkraut, mustard relish on a a toasted home made brioche buns. Sounds good? Well, it tastes even better ; ) The burger patty is so juicy!

While roaming around The Food Hall, #babyMartinez spotted a Ferris wheel with tempting desserts. I ordered a piece of macaron for her.

I also ordered a single serving of dumpling soup for her. I think there were around five or six pieces of dumplings with carrot cubes on top.

A bowl of spinach salad is filled with fresh spinach, cranberry, baby tomatoes, fried onion, grilled peach with cranberry and walnut dressings. Todd English managed to have a different take on salad by using spinach instead of the usual romaine lettuce and I like it. It's reasonably priced too.

According to our server, Todd English Food Hall is famous for its flatbread pizza. I ordered one The Classic out of curiosity. It is Todd's signature flatbread with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, basil and Parmesan cheese. I find nothing special about it but then again our server suggested to order either Truffle Fungi (PhP 700) or Fig & Proscuitto (PhP 530). I find those she suggested pricey so partly it's my fault because I am a cheapskate lol

Todd English Pork Chop is a 2 day brined double boned frenched chops served with greens and squash puree and demi-glaced sauce. One order is good for sharing. I was surprised to see that the thick pork chop was cooked evenly. I didn't find any blood oozing as I sliced the meat, I really hate it when that happens. Good thing this pork chop was cooked really well.

| OMG Chocolate Cake PhP 420 |
OMG Chocolate Cake is the most raved about dessert so I expected a lot from it especially the presentation. I was disappointed when I saw it, it was not appealing as I was expecting but it tasted good nonetheless.
