I am fascinated with all the creative bento boxes appearing on my feed that I decided to join the bandwagon! I used Cheez Whiz Original as the main ingredient. I am happy to share that it now comes in a creamier and milkier formula... yey! My entire family loves it!
Going back to my very first bento making activity, I know I wanted to make something for Halloween but I don't want it to be too scary for my two-year old #DragonPrincessB that she would not be able to look at it nor even taste it.
Since I already decided on a theme, next, I thought of her favorite food- pasta. Pasta + Cheese = Mac & Cheese!
Frankie Mac & Cheez Bento ingredients:
- Cheez Whiz Original
- Elbow Macaroni
- Red Grapes
- Dark Grapes
- Pretzels
- Ponkan
- Nori
Step 1: Cook pasta as directed.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix a spoonful of Cheez Whiz with pasta.
Now, the designing process begins. I looked and searched online for inspirations. I decided on a smiling Frankenstein with a happy pumpkin. Perfect for my little girl!
The preparation, cooking and designing process only took less than an hour. I admit, it was a bit tedious because it was my first time and I am not a very crafty person but when I saw the broad smile on my little princess' face, it was all worth it!
Mommies, please do try this at home. I think this is tasty and better baon or merienda for kids because it has a good and healthy mix of ingredients. If your kids are older, they might want to jump in and help. This is a great family bonding activity that is both fun and a learning experience as well. Let me know what you think.
Seeing the joy in my little love's face, I think I am getting the hang of it so watch out for my next creation- Super Heroes!
