Upon entering a tea shop one rainy afternoon, my daughter suddenly waved her hand and said "Hello everybody!" People waiting in line at the counter turned around and smiled at her and she smiled back. Suddenly, the atmosphere was not so gloomy anymore. I am very happy because she's not as shy as before and is slowly adjusting to become a people person.
While we were inside the car, my daughter would always let me sing along with Queen Elsa's "Let it Go". Lately, I noticed that she would also sing-along in the background and with hand gestures too. I can see that she will grow up to be a total performer!
One time, I met with a friend and when my friend left, she asked "Sino yan?" or sometimes when she does not know what to call a thing or activity she would ask "Ano yan?" She is very chatty and inquisitive like that.
Since she has no other siblings, she almost always plays alone. She grabs any unstructured object and Pretend Play like having a pet dog or sometimes paying grocery items with invisible money. She has a very vivid imagination.
When she is beside me on my work desk, the first thing that she would ask for is a pen and paper. She likes to doodle a lot!
She owns a few toys but she has a lot of books. Our day never ends without me reading one of her many books. She has quite a handful of favorite books that I will never get tired of reading to her.
Being a hands-on mom, I witness my child's progress on her overall well-being every single day. I wanted to turn every activity into a learning experience. More important, proper nutrition will help give her the edge she needs to be successful in life.
As a mom, I want my child to grow up to be a well-rounded person that's why I chose to develop her Multiple Intelligence. At the end of the day, I want to say to myself that I did a great job.
