I love Sundays because we get to go out as a family. Last weekend, we went to Active Fun Bldg. in Bonifacio Global City and spent 30-minutes in that facility. We were all tired and hungry after that so we headed to Bonifcio High Street to look for a place to eat.
DH spotted Nadai Fujisoba while my daughter was playing with water right outside the restaurant. Finally, a Japanese restaurant in Manila, Philippines that does not serve ramen instead it specializes in soba and udon!
DH was so happy because the price ain't bad. We ordered 3 individual sets from the menu- one for DH, one for me and one for yaya. No #yayameal for her ; p

Ever since we went back from Japan, DH has been wishful thinking that one day an authentic Japanese restaurant that specializes in udon will open here in Manila. Wish granted ha!

The prawns used were huge enough to fill my bowl. The udon was firm and the soup was simply slurpilicious! I also ordered a glass of Fresh Dalandan Juice for only Php 80.

When you order a Teisyoku Set, you can either choose Katsu Don (Php 350) or Ebi Tendon (Php 380). You can choose to pair your selection with any of the following choices:
- Kake Soba
- Kake Udon
- Mori Soba
- Mori Udon
I think ordering a set is a great value for money. If you do not have a huge appetite, you can have this meal shared with another person.

I ordered a set of Gyu Don with Kake Soba for our nanny. The thinly-sliced beef used was a bit fatty as seen in the photo above. The serving was a bit small as indicated on the menu but the bowl of soba was the same size as the regular ones.

The restaurant opened last March 28, it was fairly new but the service was fast and efficient. We arrived for late lunch and we were 8th in line but the turnaround was fast.
I saw several Japanese chef/staff (?) inside the restaurant. I hope the quality of soba/udon and the serving size will not change when they are gone.
