DH will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow. Yesterday, I surprised him with an overnight stay at B Hotel located at the bosom of Quezon City.
B Hotel is owned and managed by The Bellevue Hotels & Resorts. Having just opened in September, I think this is one of the newest three-star boutique hotels in Quezon City.
This industrial style hotel boasts of sleek modern design with warm and rustic ambiance. I will let my photos speak for themselves...

There is an introductory rate for a Superior Room at Php 3,600 nett. The price is inclusive of 12% VAT and 10% service charge. Valid until December 30, 2015.
I love the vintage feel of wall arts found in strategic areas around the hotel. I will show you the rest of the hotel in my next entry. Watch out for my #OOTD.
The room is about 28sqm. It has basic amenities such as the following:
Coffee/Tea Making Facilities
Work Station
I found a fire extinguisher under the table. It made me feel secured just in case something happened for the duration of our stay. By the way, it is good to note that fire exits are all clearly marked.
Cabinet
Inside the cabinet, I found an electronic safety box and a flash light. There were no hangers, bathrobes nor ironing board. It didn't bother me because we were just staying overnight.
Sink
I find it a bit weird that the sink is located outside the bathroom. A pair of toothbrushes and soap were provided. There were hand towels, slippers and an extra roll of toilet paper found under the sink. However, there's no hair dryer.
Toilet & Bath
A floor to ceiling glass window separates the bedroom and the toilet and bath. This is a good design for honeymooners but for those with child/children, there's a roll-up curtain available for privacy.
Shampoo and soap are provided, there's no conditioner and body lotion though. Yes, there's a bidet.
There's also in-room WIFI access, 2 complimentary bottled water and local newspaper available at The Lobby.
Please take note that the hotel charges Php 15 each time you make an outgoing local call.
Al Fresco Swimming Pool
My daughter enjoyed an afternoon dip at B Hotel's al fresco swimming pool. Even if it was raining, the water temperature remained warm. It would have been so much better if there's a separate pool for children or better yet an available pump to inflate the life preservers I brought along with me. The pool is about 4 feet deep.
The Lobby Cafe
Not everything on the menu is available so we only ordered the following for dinner:

The hotel is strategically located with a lot of shopping malls, restaurants and coffee shops surrounding the area. When my daughter wanted ice cream for dessert (it was not available since the hotel is still on its "Soft Opening" phase), we went to Icebergs for dessert instead.
Breakfast At B Hotel
Breakfast for two at the Lobby Cafe is inclusive with our room. Since the restaurant is not yet fully operational, the breakfast buffet was limited to the following selection:
- Soft bread and butter
- Cereals with fresh milk
- Vegetable salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette and Thousand Island dressings
- Omelet
- Tocino
- Beef Tapa
- Spaghetti
There's freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate, juice and tea available. Breakfast is available from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
We encountered several problems during our stay like plumbing in the bathroom and the malfunction of air conditioner's temperature control in the bedroom. It is good to know that engineering staff are always on stand by, they were able to quickly fix the problems. Other than that, my family and I had a pleasant stay at B Hotel.
Part of the basement is still under construction so parking is limited to several cars. You can opt to park right outside the hotel. You don't have to worry about your car since there is a security guard manning the post.
