Remember when I went to Hong Kong last year? I was supposed to buy Louis Vuitton Eva clutch bag but then DH suggested Tivoli GM instead. I saw the tote bag on the shelf screaming my name hahaha Talk about being a shopaholic! Ok, just kidding ; p
After
carrying my Tivoli GM for almost a year and several visits to the spa
for back pains later, I am determined to find a small bag. And here she
is...

Before
I settled for this one, we scoured around Central in Hong Kong and
Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui for 2 straight days. We went inside every
store that sells a designer bag before I decided on this one.

The
day after DH and I arrived from Shenzhen, we entered Gucci, Chanel,
Louis Vuitton, Prada and even Balenciaga looking for a small pouch. I
tell you, it was not love at first sight. At first, I was looking at
Tod's Signature Collection which Anne Hathaway is endorsing. But then I
opted for a classic D-Bag with a twist fondly called D-Styling. An
evolution of the iconic D-Bag named after Princess Diana, D-Styling
comes in 3 sizes-Medio (medium), Piccolo (small) and Mini. I figured, I
don't want to be Anne Hathaway. If I wanted to be somebody else, I would
be like to be Princess Diana ; p
I
actually pondered on this purchase overnight ; p After endless research
about Tod's online, I succumed on getting one. I still yearn for an Eva clutch but DH talked me out of it twice! Hmmm... maybe next year?!
What I love about the bag:
- Tiny (9.5 x 4.5 x 6.5) yet I can fit in my Fino leather wallet, Canon Ixus camera, Nokia cell phone among other things
- Made in Italy
- Made of calf leather
- Handcrafted
- Orange color
- Structured
- and it's Tod's!
I just don't know if this will go on sale. If it does, I would be brokenhearted! Oh, before I forget, when in Hong Kong, buy a designer's handbag because it is tax-free ;p
